The I Bootcamp Blockchain Fintech Accelerator @ Alicante has been temporarily postponed, due to the limitation of the activity of the participating companies and entities and the geographical mobility restrictions. New dates for the celebration of the bootcamp will be announced soon.

Comunitat Valenciana Digital District will organize the first Bootcamp Blockchain & Fintech Accelerator in Alicante, which will take place from March 23 to 25 in the premises of Digital Distric with the participation of the main national and international finsurtech startups and multiple banks and insurance companies.

Aware of the growing importance of the “fintech” sector, –a term that merges finance and technology related to companies that are intermediaries in the banking sector–, Digital District has made an outstanding commitment to boost and promote a first-class event aimed at attracting the best talent and supporting the development of technology businesses to join the ambitious innovation ecosystem.

For this, Digital District on this occasion will have the services of Nestholma, a company highly specialized in the sector, which has recently been awarded by public tender, the contract for the implementation and development of this bootcamp.

The organization of the so-called Blockchain & Fintech Accelerator @ Alicante starts with a phase of registering interested startups, –which is currently open– as well as conducting workshops between Nestholma and financial institutions interested in participating in this meeting. On March 24, there will be interactive workshops in which attendees will be able to define possible collaborations, address joint value proposals, learn about the most attractive pilot projects, etc. Likewise, this day will focus on collaboration models, negotiation of associations, alternative financing channels (preparation for STO), effective piloting and analysis, and the management of innovation projects, among other aspects.

Finally, on March 25, startups and financial entities will finalize their alliances of joint work, and close the meeting with an open session in which the interaction of all the components of the ecosystem in Alicante will be accentuated.

The program also includes an extra day for possible meetings, on March 26, that will allow reserving time for meetings, all with the objective that selected startups have the support of financial institutions to start working and collaborate in the environment and ecosystem promoted by the Valencian Community Digital District.
