Alicante, Tuesday May 19, 2020.- Comunidad Valenciana Digital District collaborates this May in the organization of two free online courses on finance, risks and business responsibilities in the post-COVID scenario, in collaboration with Banco Sabadell and GlobalFinanz respectively , aimed at facilitating the return to business of companies at this stage.
The first of these Digital District webinars will take place this Wednesday May 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., in collaboration with Banco Sabadell, through its BStartup program, under the title ‘Covid-19: finance and investment for Startups and EBT’s’.
This meeting will analyze the facilities offered by the entity to respond to the liquidity needs of companies, in the situation motivated by Covid-19. The presentation will be given by Ángel Buigues, BStartup Advisor of Banco Sabadell and Marta Campillo, Investment Analyst and Program Coordinator of BStartup10.
Participants will be able to learn more about how a company should prepare for the new reality that is presented, what liquidity solutions banks offer to alleviate the situation, and the different lines of support available at the moment (ICO, IVF Pyme …).
The second Digital District webinar on financing will be held on May 28, at 1:00 p.m., in collaboration with GlobalFinanz, with the title of ‘Business Risks and Responsibilities of Startups and Technology’, taught by the partner GlobalFinanz founder José Antonio Jareño and Sandra Jiménez, specialist in civil liability insurance programs and responsible for the firm’s business development.
The seminar will address the risks and responsibilities faced by those responsible for Technology Companies, among others, and who must respond in some cases even with their personal and family assets, and the different forms of protection against them on stage post-pandemic.
For this, the coverage of the policies will be analyzed, given the current situation; claims as Administrators or Directors of their companies against investors, shareholders, suppliers, employees, among others; the greater vulnerability of employers to events arising from the current situation and the uncertainty generated (unpaid, breach of contracts, employee claims, etc …).
In addition, claims arising from the company’s own activity (such as errors, omissions and system failures) and the increased risk of cyber attacks and claims for Data Protection will be studied.
* Registration for both webinars is completely free, prior registration in the section at the following link: https://distritodigitalcv.es/agenda/. After registering for the event, participants will receive an email with instructions to connect to the online platform and follow the presentation.
