Comunitat Valenciana Digital District, in its quest to address real problems in our territory, promotes the design of ideal innovation solutions for the Region of Valencia through 3 international challenges in Tourism, natural disaster forecasting and Health.
These open innovation programs are part of the strategy for attracting projects and talent to our hub, and will allow us to respond to the innovation and technology needs of local, national and international corporations and institutions.
What will these calls contribute to our productive fabric? And in what way will they contribute to improving management in these sectors?
These programs are designed to guarantee the selection of the best innovation initiatives and technology firms with high added value.
The objective is to select a minimum of 17 new companies and startups that will be installed in Comunitat Valenciana Digital District to develop innovation solutions that accelerate or activate new products, services or business models between corporations that can be integrated into real projects.
Tourism
In the field of Tourism, this initiative will be of great interest to the business fabric and public entities of the Valencian Community, given that the sector urgently requires technological solutions that allow it to adapt quickly to the new regulations and protocols after the pandemic .
Climate change and natural catastrophes
Regarding prevention of Climate Change and natural disasters, innovation solutions will be aimed at meeting the specific needs of public and private institutions that manage incidents. The application of these new technological tools will help to predict and prevent natural disasters in real time, and improve the management of disasters, in aspects such as communications, logistics and rescue, among others.
Health
In the healthcare sector, technological solutions should address challenges for the digitization of healthcare management, improving the efficiency and management of hospitals, the use of AI and Big Data for the exploitation of patient data, the so-called telemedicine in aspects such as creation of emergency provider platforms, the implementation of virtual assistance in homes, advanced clinical microbiology or the connection of patients and remote healthcare control, and precision medicine, among other aspects.
