Sustainable tourism 5.0, up for debate in June

The I International Forum ‘Territories and sustainable tourism 5.0’ will gather from June 16 to 18 in Digital District, technology and experts and representatives of national and international entities to present their successful experiences.

Sustainability and respect for the environment are key to our future. All efforts to seek and implement measures that reduce the impact of different industries and sectors on the environment are welcome and much needed.

For this reason, Digital District and the Connect Clean platform are organizing the 1st International Forum ‘Territories and sustainable tourism 5.0’. This meeting will be held on June 16, 17 and 18 and is particularly important, both for the theme chosen and for the selection of national and French experts in sustainable transformation who will take part in the meeting.
The event will be held in a hybrid format – face-to-face and online – and will allow to know the projects of different territories. In addition, it will give companies, startups and clusters the opportunity to offer solutions to the challenges posed in these projects.

It will have speakers and participants from the three provinces of the Valencian Community, as well as Córdoba, Granada, Málaga and Burgos. On the international side, international entities such as the French Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Hub Tourisme Paris, the city of Dijon, the French Tech Aix-en-Provence and the Agency for Sustainable Mediterranean Cities and Territories (AVITEM) will intervene, to tell your experiences of success.

At the heart of the debate will be the territories and sustainable tourism framed under the umbrella of the following 10 challenges: Mobility and transport; Infrastructures and maintenance; Energy, climate and environment; Tourism with New Destination Models and Technology and Tourism; Cities / territories and industrial estates; Housing, Heritage, Neighborhoods and citizen interaction; Inclusion and culture and as well as Risk and security control.

A challenge to design a tomorrow marked by the principles of Innovation, Ecology and Sustainability.
