Digital District and Red.es present the Digital Kit in the Region of Valencia

• The three presentation sessions will take place on February 1 and 2 at the Digital District facilities in Alicante, the Àgora de Alcoy and the CEV headquarters in Valencia

Alicante, Wednesday, January 12, 2022.- The Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, through Digital District, and Red.es –entity attached to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation through the Ministry of State of Digitization and Artificial Intelligence– will present the Digital Kit aid program in the Region of Valencia on February 1 and 2 at an information session aimed at small companies, micro-SMEs and the self-employed, as well as companies in the tech sector of the District ecosystem Digital who can opt to become digitizing agents of this Program.

Endowed with a budget of 3,067 million euros, the Kit Digital program, promoted by the Government of Spain, is financed by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Spain Digital Agenda 2025 and the Digitalization Plan for SMEs 2021-2025. Its purpose is to improve the level of digitization of one million SMEs and freelancers from all productive sectors in the next three years in order to increase their productivity, promote internationalization and the creation of quality employment. To facilitate companies’ access to this Program under the best conditions, it is essential that they know well how they can meet the requirements to opt for it. For this reason, Digital District and Red.es collaborate in this regional presentation, a conference aligned with the Digital District strategy, which works to lead the Digital Transformation Plan in the Region of Valencia and promote the transfer of knowledge and innovation to the traditional productive fabric of this territory.

PRESENTATION PROGRAM

Thus, Digital District will host in its facilities the official presentation of the Digital Kit program in the Region of Valencia, which will take place on the morning of February 1, with representatives of companies from the new economy and SMEs from the province of Alicante.

The act, which will be broadcast in streaming, will feature an institutional opening and several presentations in which all the information related to the objectives of the program, the catalog of digitization solutions, the access criteria and obligations for both digitizing agents as well as for beneficiary SMEs, micro-SMEs and the self-employed.

That same day, in the afternoon from 4:30 p.m., a second informative session will be held on the Digital Kit program in the Àgora de Alcoy, in collaboration with the Town Hall of the town, with the same characteristics, also aimed at SMEs, freelancers and digitizing agents of the environment.

The following day, Wednesday, February 2, the third and final presentation session of the Program will be held at the headquarters of the Valencian employers’ association CEV in València, for companies, self-employed professionals and digitizing agents from Valencia and Castellón, which will also be broadcast via streaming.
