Digital District has participated very actively in the latest edition of FITUR, which was held from January 19 to 23 at IFEMA, with an important agenda of meetings with agents and administrations from the technology and tourism sector.

Our CEO, Antonio Rodes, participated last Thursday in the Fiturtech Future and Technology Forum with the presentation 'Building a Digital Ecosystem'.

In it, he explained the work carried out to create a digital ecosystem and thanks to which more than 70 new companies with some 1,000 workers have been established in the last three years, weaving at the same time an ecosystem with a total of 420 companies and institutions.
Comunitat Valenciana Digital District is also becoming a key ally of the tourism sector by encouraging the generation of innovation in the sector by attracting entrepreneurial talent, both international and national, and responding to the challenges facing the tourism industry.

Last Thursday, the Tourism District Open Innovation program was discussed in the Central Plaza of the Comunitat Valenciana stand at Fitur. Our CEO, Antonio Rodes, presented the initiatives related to tourism that our hub has underway.

Herick Campos, general director of Tourism at the Generalitat Valenciana, and Paz López Conde, director of Open Innovation at Barrabés, also took part in this act.
