Alicante, Saturday, March 5, 2022.- Comunitat Valenciana Digital District Coordination team and around fifty companies and startups linked to the hub have traveled to Barcelona this week to attend the latest edition of the Mobile World Congress (MWC), held from February 28 to March 3, considered the most important congress in the world in its sector.

This edition, which has had 60,000 attendees from 200 countries, is an essential event for companies and agents in the technological environment who find in this forum a giant showcase and an opportunity to generate new business and boost the global economy.

It has been an unbeatable opportunity to connect with the main driving forces of the national and international technological ecosystems, to learn about the trends in the sector and, especially, to network.

It is a place to go to see and to be seen, where there are companies from any sector trying to attract talent and projects to respond to future needs”, explains Santiago Ambit, head of Operations, Diversification and Development of New Activities at Digital District.

In addition, he adds, “the national and international presence is very powerful, which makes this fair a great opportunity to contact referents from all over the world with whom, otherwise, it would be very difficult to speak directly”.

Significantly, a total of 56 technology companies linked to the Digital District ecosystem –including large corporates, startups and SMEs in the sector–, have attended the MWC this year to be an active part of this international meeting forum with their own stands , to present their projects or as attendees, to learn about the latest challenges that arise in the fields of Big Data, IA, IoT, 5G, Metaverses, Gaming, Smart cities, etc…

Also, within the framework of 4 Years From Now (4YFN), the professionals of our ecosystem displaced to Barcelona have had the opportunity to hold meetings with investors, attend high-value talks offered by founders and experts, as well as learn about the cutting-edge and disruptive technologies created by small startups.
