The Spain-Finland collaboration, a competitive advantage over the world
It is necessary for Spanish and Finnish companies to take advantage of collaboration synergies in terms of energy and technological sustainability, and take advantage of all the alliances that allow them to expand their activity and new markets within the framework of the European Union.
This is one of the main conclusions of the Finland-Spain business leaders meeting, organized this Tuesday by Distrito Digital Comunitat Valenciana and Trailmaker.
In this forum, which was welcomed by the CEO of Distrito Digital Antonio Rodes, Finnish business leaders and representatives of various Spanish corporations installed both in Madrid and in the Mediterranean Arc regions participated to address new business opportunities.
Among the Spanish companies were representatives of the Suez Group; gelify; Nunsys; Applus; Loneliness Group; Asseco; City of the Arts; vectalia; Region of Murcia; Murcian Association of Technology Companies (Timur); French Chamber of Commerce; Banco Sabadell, Sterk and International Consulting Partnership.
On behalf of the Finnish companies, representatives and CEOs of the following companies were present: Metsäliitto, Aalto EiR; Taaleri Oyj Inversor, Hartwall Capital, Ficolo, Boing, Rej-Design ETR, Komia, Citecy Trailmaker.
The session included a presentation on ‘Business Transformation is accelerating in Europe – how to face the change’, by Lasse Rouhiainen, international expert in AI and digital marketing, and a round table on ‘Seizing the opportunities of Business Transformation ‘ Taavi Heikkilä Former Chairman and CEO of SOK (Finland); Juhani Elomaa, chairman of the Board Taaleri (Finland); Guillermo Mas, Open Innovation of AGBAR; José Antonio Pinilla, president of Asseco Spain Group (Spain) and Roberto Milan, general commercial director at NUNSYS (Spain), took part on it.
In this debate, the impact that the coronavirus pandemic and the current open war between Russia and Ukraine are having on the business activity of companies in both countries, with unprecedented rises in energy costs, and how the technology and innovation are called to help the business fabric to face the problems of this new scenario.
