HACKOVID VIRTUAL: NEW CHALLENGES POST COVID-19
The regional department of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society, throug Comunitat Valenciana Digital District, together with the Alcoi City Council (Alicante), the Polytechnic School (EPSA) of the Alcoi Campus of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) and the Fundación Empresa Universidad Alicante – Fundeun, organize the I Digital Transformation Conference Alcoy 2020 “The before and after”, which will be held on November 26, 27 and 28, with the aim of making the real cases known to companies and current applications of technology in the digital transformation of companies.
Within these days, on November 27 and 28, the virtual #HackOVID: New challenges post Covid-19 is held, a virtual, open and participatory event, created to respond to the needs generated by the pandemic. In the hackathon, organized by Fundeun, university and Vocational Training students and graduates, entrepreneurs, teachers, researchers, managers, businessmen, and anyone interested in generating synergies in the post-COVID field can participate with a practical experiential activity developed during a Weekend.
The #HackOVID is focused on promoting proofs of concept and prototypes based on blockchain, artificial intelligence and augmented reality, in the areas of quality of life, product development, new industrial and intelligent systems, sustainability, or the revitalization of grassroots companies technology, or other actions to promote R + D + i. Participants will form teams of a maximum of 6 people and will be able to test and develop applications based on the BlockchainFUE public network.
The first session of these I Alcoy Digital Transformation Conference will be held on Thursday morning 26 under the title “Before and After”. It is oriented to company executives, who will be able to know real cases of digital transformation applied to companies of different sectors and sizes. Attendees will be able to participate in person in this first day of the 26th (in the CADA building in Alcoi), or follow it live by streaming, since a hybrid format has been determined in person – online. People who wish to attend in person must request a personalized invitation at the email address providing name and ID.
#HackOVID awards
A Jury will decide and announce on Saturday November 28 to all virtual assistants the winning project of this HackOVID, which will receive a prize of € 500 granted by INTERACSO. The Multitec Award for Best Teamwork will also be awarded, consisting of an annual membership to the MULTITEC Alumni Association for all members of the group who meet the requirements for membership.
The Good Decisions Club Award will also recognize the best participant for their Teamwork, who will receive a scholarship to attend the Executive Online Program of Leadership Tools to lead change.
