ULab organizes together with Yolandaproponet and with the collaboration of the Comunitat Valenciana Digital District, the talk ‘The challenge of eSports for parents and educators’, in which professionals related to the field of technology, sports and psychology meet to analyze the phenomenon of online sports. The event is held at the ULab headquarters, on January 25, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and will be accompanied by breakfast.
Among the professionals who will discuss the importance of eSports is Juan Castillo, Technical Director of GGTech Entertainment, a company located in the Digital District. Juan manages the projects are University Esports and IESports, two eSports competitions based on the educational environment that act as tools to promote values.
Also participating in the talk are Emilia María, a Psychology professional specialized in psychological care in consultation with the awareness of the child-adolescent population and families about the responsible use of new technologies; Fran Pascual, graduate in psychology and communication expert, creator of the motto “Move and do things”, with thousands of online followers around the world; Jorge J. Asín Rodriguez, commercial agent with experience in the publishing and computing sector and a video game fan; and Sergio Pérez, better known in the sector with the nickname “Duns” or Sergio Pérez Duns, a professional with extensive experience in marketing and social media in this sector.
